Job Details

Position Summary

As the Automotive Service Manager, you will oversee the performance and development of the service team. You will ensure outstanding customer satisfaction, lead and motivate employees, and manage daily operations to meet sales, productivity, and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain satisfaction levels at or above company standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and factory representatives.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing service and technical team.
  • Schedule and supervise workloads of all service department staff.
  • Manage service department operations to achieve business objectives, including sales and profitability targets.
  • Assist with diagnosing vehicle issues, warranties, and repairs as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in dealership service management with verifiable customer satisfaction success.
  • Results-driven and energetic, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Passionate about providing outstanding customer care.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Ability to lead and develop a high-performing service team.
  • Proficient in using computers and relevant software.
  • High school diploma required; college degree and ASE or manufacturer certifications preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
